The DR Scope is a genuine innovation that enables dynamic respiratory examination in horses without the use of a treadmill and under the most natural and safest training conditions for horses. The dynamic obstructions of the upper equine respiratory tract may be under diagnosed or misdiagnosed by resting endoscopy. Exercising endoscopy on high speed treadmill has been proven to be significantly better for diagnosing dynamic obstructions of the upper equine respiratory tract. However, because treadmill exercising endoscopy requires several experienced individuals and expensive equipment it has limited availability. The DR Scope replaces treadmill endoscopy as the gold standard for the investigation of diseases affecting the equine respiratory tract.
